Lucky Lox Consignment Terms & Agreement

Thank you for choosing to consign your gently loved children’s items with Lucky Lox. By creating a consignor account and submitting items to Lucky Lox, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the following terms and conditions.

 

1. Consignor Account

A consignor account must be created before items can be accepted for consignment. The

information provided by the consignor must be accurate and kept up to date.

2. Ownership of Items

The consignor remains the legal owner of all items until the item is sold.

By submitting items to Lucky Lox, the consignor authorizes Lucky Lox to display, photograph, market, price, and sell the items on their behalf.

3. Consignment Earnings

When a consigned item sells, the consignor will receive 25% of the final selling price of the item. Earnings will be added to the consignor’s Lucky Lox account once the item has been sold.

Consignors may choose to receive their available earnings as either:

• Cash payout, or

• Lucky Lox store credit

Payouts or store credit may be requested at any time, subject to any applicable minimum payout requirements established by Lucky Lox.

4. Pricing & Markdown Schedule

Lucky Lox determines the initial selling price of each accepted item based on factors such as brand, condition, style, demand, and current market value.

To keep inventory fresh and give items the best possible opportunity to sell, the following

markdown schedule applies:

• After 2 months: Item price may be reduced by 25%

• After 4 months: Item price may be reduced by 40%

• After 12 months: Any remaining unsold items will be donated to St. Vincent de Paul in Petrolia

 

By consigning with Lucky Lox, the consignor agrees to this markdown and donation schedule and understands that they will not receive payment for items that are donated because they did not sell.

 

5. Unsold Items & Donations

Once an item reaches the six-month consignment period, Lucky Lox may donate the item to St. Vincent de Paul in Petrolia.

Items that have reached the six-month period cannot be reclaimed by the consignor after they have been donated.

Lucky Lox will not be responsible for contacting consignors individually before the 12-month donation date. Consignors are responsible for keeping track of their consigned items and their consignment period.

6. Condition of Items

Items submitted for consignment must be clean, gently used, and in sellable condition. Lucky Lox reserves the right to refuse any item that does not meet our quality standards.

Items may be rejected due to stains, excessive wear, damage, missing parts, odors, recalls, or any other condition that makes the item unsuitable for resale.

7. Loss, Damage or Theft

While Lucky Lox takes reasonable care of consigned merchandise, the consignor acknowledgesmthat items are being left at the store for the purpose of resale.

8. Accuracy of Information & Ownership

By submitting an item for consignment, the consignor confirms that:

• They are the legal owner of the item or have permission from the legal owner to consign

it.

• The item is not stolen, counterfeit, recalled, or subject to any ownership dispute.

• The information they provide to Lucky Lox is accurate to the best of their knowledge.

The consignor agrees to notify Lucky Lox if there is any issue affecting their ownership of a consigned item.

9. Account Balances

Available earnings remain associated with the consignor’s account until the consignor requests a

cash payout or store credit, subject to Lucky Lox’s applicable policies.

10. Changes to These Terms

Lucky Lox reserves the right to update or modify these consignment terms from time to time.

Any changes will apply to future consignments and, where applicable, to existing consignments as permitted by law.

11. Agreement

By creating a Lucky Lox consignor account and submitting items for consignment, I confirm that I have read, understood, and agree to the Lucky Lox Consignment Terms & Agreement.

 

I understand that:

☐ I remain the owner of my items until they sell.

☐ I receive 25% of the final selling price of each item that sells.

☐ My items may be marked down by 25% after 2 months and 40% after 4 months.

☐ Any items remaining unsold after 12 months will be donated to St. Vincent de Paul in Petrolia.

☐ I authorize Lucky Lox to photograph, display, market, price, and sell my items on my behalf.

☐ I have provided accurate information and confirm that I have the legal right to consign the

items I submit.
